Clare
Clare completed her Diploma of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art in 2008 and registered as an Architect in the UK in 2010. She has worked in practices in Stuttgart, London and Christchurch on new-build and existing residential and commercial buildings. She has hands-on building, management and collaborative experience from a range of small projects. Current work includes awkward design challenges, low energy and heritage buildings. She has always had a passion for sustainable building practice and is a trained Passivhaus designer.
Oscar
After completing a Masters in Structural Engineering and Architecture at The University of Sheffield, Oscar practiced as a Structural Engineer in London with Price and Myers on various small and medium scale commercial and residential projects. After a short stint working in Christchurch on the earthquake rebuild, he worked with BJSE in Shrewsbury. His keen interest in design and building, particularly with timber, means his spare time is often spent in the workshop and on personal building projects. Oscar started Hockaday Consulting Engineering in 2021.
