Kitchen, living and dining reimagining

This project opened up the kitchen and living spaces while working within the constraints of the existing building fabric. New structural elements were left exposed and accented with colour. The dining room and kitchen were switched to allow views of the garden to be enjoyed while eating. Additional natural light was brought in through new roof lights, and several existing window openings were extended to form new doors. Working with the graphic designer client, pops of colour were introduced to create a playful interior. Simple, elegant white timber joinery was used to link the new doors with the existing sash-and-case windows to the rear of the property.
